Hey guys. Occasionally I will go to my local Gamesworkshop at the Gateway at Mountain Village up in southern California, but I wanted to shine some of the limelight on Pegasus Hobbies! It's the biggest hobby store in southern California and has a fantastic selection of paints, models, and other hobby supplies, but not only that, it also has 4 gaming tables that need some attention. Now I'm not trying to bang on GW, I love the company (to an extent I may add) but hey, the local store has had several managers (too much since I've been there) and the place is cramped with lots of people, weird store hours (closed mondays, tuesdays, opens at either 12 am or 1 pm depending on the days, and occasionally closes on some days due to the managers taking days off but that's their own business. So how can I reliably play games now? Well I met a small gaming group that loves Warmachine but will play 40k if people are willing to join in on the fun. Well if you live near Pegasus Hobbies, come on down when the store opens on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The group hangs out in the back till around 4 or 5 pm. Hopefully you might run into me (Clayton), Matt (guy who runs the group), and even Nigel ( Eldar and Dark Eldar player. There are some other folks too but I don't know their names. I will give them player intros if they have 40k armies. The more 40k players we can get, the better and if you play Warmachine too that's great too. It's a big store (huge!) and has a lot to look at so come on down and check it out!
